Much belated (and the last) rain update from Alto Matasanos

August rainfall was notable for being much more even and much less than July. We averaged .8 inches or 2 cm per day with only one deluge day (3.5 inches). We were spared rain on the final day of the month. September looks to be much the same, but still has quite a ways to go. I've become rather lazy about checking the rain gauge daily, so I'm going to give it up for now. I may resume in October as that is supposed to be the wettest month of the year (although last year it seemed not so). 

Stay tuned for an upcoming update on my sister's house (she is well ensconced there now). We've been working hard on finishing up the interior, wiring, and plumbing. Ta for now!
